What to expect if you follow @Stattobets through Christmas

The darts coverage will start rolling out properly from this weekend. I went out with a few early thoughts where I thought the value was standout on the match winners, but now we’re seeing the bookies flesh out their offering, and we also have the schedule of play, so I’ll start working through the matches day by day.

As far as the World Championships go, the majority of our bets will be focused on the Match Result, Total 180s and Player 180s markets. We’ll dip into Correct Score markets from time to time, and handicap betting, as well as Most 180s, but I’d expect at least 80% of bets to come from the main four markets.

Our long term Darts ROI remains strong at 5.1%. We advised 137 bets on the last Darts World Champs, for a total of 1305pts, wining 378.6pts at 29%. It was a great event for us and followed up a great 2024 event where we advised 84 pets, for 800pts and returned a 353.4 point profit. Both might have been slightly helped with a bit of variance, but the inclusion of lesser known players certainly helps us as my data bases go far down the rankings.

We’ll obviously continue to post football bets throughout the Christmas period, and my focus doesn’t drift from there – it just means I’m busier throughout the period.
